In the shimmering desert landscapes of Dubai, a celebration of timeless beauty and intricate craftsmanship unfolded. From 1st to 3rd May 2025, Antonio Riva Milano made its mark in the heart of the Middle East, where the meeting of cultures took shape through a showcase that merged Italian haute couture with the rich traditions of the Arabian world.
Against the luxurious backdrop of the Bulgari Hotel and the evocative setting of Ras Al Khaimah, Antonio Riva Milano presented a curated selection of standout pieces from its couture collections, alongside the debut of Noor, a new capsule that draws on the essentiality of Arabian landscapes and the transformative power of light. This exclusive event marked the maison’s ongoing journey into new territories, connecting with an international clientele who seek more than just fashion—they seek a story, a reflection of culture, and a moment of timeless beauty.
Noor is part of a broader vision, a study in contrast and lightness. It blends the soft, fluid silhouettes of traditional Middle Eastern apparel—shaylas, kaftans, veils, and abayas—with a contemporary, almost architectural design ethos. Inspired by the vast desert, the capsule captures the tension between full and empty, light and dark, tradition and modernity. The flowing forms of the garments are crafted to move effortlessly with the body, creating an ethereal effect that interacts with the environment around them.
Across the full showcase, the selected gowns expressed the maison’s unmistakable codes: sculptural volumes, exquisite Italian fabrics, and details that speak in whispers—never loud, always lasting. Whether in mikado, organza, or satin, each creation was designed to accompany, rather than impose. This was couture for those who seek authenticity and connection, pieces that move with emotion and reflect the light of the woman who wears them.
As the showcase began on 1st May, Marco Ferra, Lara Palmer of World Arabia, and Moroccan Princess Nezha Alaoui joined Creative Director Antonio Riva in presenting this multifaceted collection to an intimate audience of VIC, KOL, and press at the Members Lounge Yacht Club at the Bulgari Hotel. The evening culminated with a gala dinner hosted by actress and TV anchor Mahira Abdel Aziz, where the glamour of Antonio Riva Milano will take centre stage.
On 3rd May, the journey concluded in Ras Al Khaimah with a special styling session led by Marco Ferra and Sheika Fatima Al Qassimi, where the brand’s creations shone in an exclusive soirée—an evening where couture, culture, and Italian style came together in a celebration of refined beauty.
This activation in Dubai marked more than just a showcase for Antonio Riva Milano; it was a testament to the maison’s unwavering commitment to bridging the worlds of haute couture and Middle Eastern elegance. The new Noor capsule is a symbol of this harmonious blend, where Italian craftsmanship and Arabian tradition come together to create something truly exceptional—a collection that moves, reflects, and, above all, lasts.
