Antonio Riva Milano at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival

Antonio Riva Milano torna a Cannes per la 79esima edizione del Festival del Cinema

The Cannes Film Festival confirms itself year after year as one of the most luminous stages of international cinema, where fashion becomes a visual language and every gown tells a story. This year, Antonio Riva Milano accompanied these women along the Croisette, each with a look capable of expressing her own vision of elegance: sculptural, romantic, ethereal or timeless.

Sara Croce in a custom Antonio Riva Milano dress

Sara Croce walked the red carpet of the Paper Tiger première in a black custom made gown of effortless allure: a straight-neck bustier with a refined drapery of soft waves over the décolleté, panels that embrace the bodice and flow seamlessly into the skirt, culminating in a long train at the back.

Dasha Kina chose a bolder statement in black organza: a long mermaid gown with a liquid effect that followed her every movement with precision.

Virginia Stablum illuminated the red carpet of the La Bola Negra première in an ethereal gown in lime green silk crêpon — a vibrant colour that enhanced her natural beauty — featuring generous volumes on the transparent sleeves and skirt, with a double-layered bodice enriched by an irregular plissé-effect drapery.

Giulia Paglianiti walked her first Cannes red carpet in a powder pink mikado gown that enhanced her complexion: a fold-over bandeau neckline, a mermaid skirt with a bow at the back, and a detachable mikado train. A creation that embodies the dual spirit of the brand’s couture, designed to move fluidly across the codes of contemporary elegance and to live naturally both on a wedding day and within the most iconic moments of the international stage.

Elena Hazinah chose delicacy for her debut on the Croisette, in a silk gown in light pink that accompanied her every movement with grace and femininity.

Valeria Vedovatti made her entrance on the red carpet of the Histoires de la Nuit première with classic, timeless elegance: a strapless black satin sheath dress, essential and refined.

For the closing evening, she chose an ethereal and lightweight silhouette, wearing the Gardenia gown in green silk chiffon. The design is constructed with two layered silk chiffon panels that enhance its transparency and fluidity, featuring a boat neckline and a deep open back gathered into a softly draped pleat construction.

During the Festival, the WIBA Awards were also held — the Women in Business Awards, the international recognition dedicated to women who distinguish themselves in the worlds of business, innovation and culture.

For this occasion, Virginia Stablum and Giulia Paglianiti chose two Antonio Riva Milano gowns, bringing to the stage two different interpretations of the same creative universe.

Virginia chose a precious embroidered tulle gown that defines a couture of precision and lightness: the boned bustier intertwines with floral micro-embroidery and pearls, while the ethereal veil is illuminated by three-dimensional chenille polka dots. The silhouette flows into a luminous mermaid skirt, completed by a detachable peplum with a tailcoat cut that shapes a structured, sculptural elegance. A design that embodies the versatility of the brand’s couture, able to transition naturally from the wedding ceremony to the most exclusive moments of the international stage.

Giulia was honoured with an award while wearing a long blue mikado gown with a redingote cut, a halter-neck bodice adorned with sparkling black crystals and a skirt with a deep central slit of romantic, magnetic allure.

Throughout these prestigious events, Antonio Riva Milano once again demonstrated that couture is not just a gown, it is a presence. A language that transcends the occasion and becomes an indelible mark of style and identity.
