On September 1st, Antonio Riva Milano marked a significant milestone with the opening of its first international flagship store in Tokyo. Located in the refined Yaesu district, the new space reflects the Maison’s vision of bringing Italian couture to an international stage while honouring the values of craftsmanship, tradition, and elegance.
Spanning 110 square meters, the boutique was designed to recreate the intimate atmosphere of Antonio Riva Milano’s historic ateliers in Italy. Three fitting rooms welcomed clients into an immersive environment where each appointment was a personal experience. Within this space, visitors discovered the new Urban Dream collection, alongside a curated selection of the Maison’s most iconic designs and exclusive pieces created specifically for the Tokyo atelier.
The opening also introduced a distinctive service tailored to Japanese bridal traditions: brides can rent a completely new gown for their wedding day. In Japan, where Western-style bridal gowns are often rented for wedding ceremonies.
To celebrate the occasion, Antonio Riva Milano hosted two exclusive runway shows for the press and selected clients. The opening also debuted the AR Café, a temporary experiential space open until September 16th, where guests can immerse themselves in the Maison’s creative world.
The launch of the Tokyo flagship represents more than a new location. It highlights Antonio Riva Milano’s enduring connection to Japan, a country that shares the Maison’s values of formal elegance, attention to detail, and refined craftsmanship, and marks a pivotal step in the Maison's international journey.
