Italian singer-songwriter Maninni graced the stage in exclusive designs by Antonio Riva Milano for the five evenings of the Sanremo Festival 2024, taking place from February 6th to 10th. This marks the first time in his career that designer Antonio Riva has dressed a man for the Ariston stage, showcasing the versatility of his creative vision and the sartorial skills of his team. For Riva, haute couture is an art form, whether it is for men or women.
Five Looks to Dress a Star
Maninni showcased five different looks, all characterized by soft and draped fabrics, sharp color choices, and striking luminous details. For his debut on the Ariston stage, the Puglia-born artist chose a short black crepe cady jacket paired with a soft georgette blouse featuring hand-embroidered silk appliques adorned with crystals and sequins, along with classic-cut trousers.
On the second evening, Maninni wore a hand-embroidered black georgette crossover shirt with three-dimensional silk appliques, mikado collar, and cuffs, and wide-legged trousers with pleats, complemented by a draped waistband.
For the evening in which the artist was presenting, he chose a total black look with a suit consisting of a soft blouse with a draped neckline and waistband and classic trousers with flared bottoms.
During the cover-themed evening, where Maninni shared the Sanremo stage with Ermal Meta, he opted for a total white ensemble comprising a soft lavallière satin blouse and wide-legged trousers with pleats.
Lastly, for the grand finale, a total black crepe cady suit took the spotlight. The asymmetric lapel jacket was hand-embroidered with three-dimensional crystal and sequin encrustations, paired with classic-cut trousers featuring flared bottoms.
This collaboration between Italian artist Maninni and Antonio Riva Milano brought elegance, creativity, and impeccable Antonio Riva Milano craftsmanship to the Sanremo Festival stage.
